Prior to joining CyTerra, Mr. O’Donnell held various leadership positions at Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control over 13 years. Notable accomplishments: led the design of an innovative tri-mode seeker (radar, infrared, laser) for Joint Common Missile; initiated the novel transfer of radar technology to high bandwidth communications; led the successful pursuit of a concealed weapons detection contract.
Prior to joining Lockheed Martin, Mr. O’Donnell was an Engineering Supervisor at E-Systems Melpar Division, where he worked on advanced sensor development programs. He started his engineering career at Sperry Government Electronic Systems, where he worked on electronic warfare training systems.
Mr. O’Donnell is the inventor or co-inventor on numerous patent filings and issued patents in diverse areas, including: missile guidance, through-wall motion sensing, IED detection, explosive detection, automated dimensioning devices, and umbrellas.
He received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MS in Management of Technology from the University of Miami. |
